This year the Summer Retreat will begin on 31 May with a 21 day group retreat on the Peaceful & Wrathful deities (zhi khro).
From 15 July there will be 3 days of offering ceremonies to mark the Anniversary of the First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma.
Beginning 18 July for 50 days Kyabje Rinpoche will teach Jigme Lingpa’s Yeshe Lama. This will include group practice sessions in the morning, afternoon and evenings, as well as ‘chod’ (gcod) group practice in the evenings.
Further teachings planned by Kyabje Rinpoche this summer include Longchenpa’s Treasury of Key Instructions (man ngag mdzod) and Patrul Rinpoche’s Words of My Perfect Teacher (kun bzang bla ma'i zhal lung) which are planned to begin on 6 September, the latter of which will be open to all.
On the 15th September for three days the Great Offering Ceremony of Bodhichitta will be held in Dzogchen Pema Tung with over 3000 lamas, monks and nuns expected to attend.
Following these in early October, Kyabje Rinpoche will give open empowerments and teachings on Sukhavati pure realm practice.
